We are now ready to start working with our index cards.
You are going to use them to make a set of cards which will help you to learn about and understand how cells are put together and how they function.
Please download this file and print it out. It will tell you what to do. We will be spending some class time working on your cells cards and cell models.

I dident know that if you split the Atom inyo smaller pices its called the sub stance and Particals. I would like to know what it means when it says Atoms married many areas.

Cells and Atoms
CELLS I think it is cool that were made of 10trillon cells. Did you know that the diameter of are hair is the diameter of the largest cell in are body!! And that 100 microns is = to one tenth of a mil. I never knew that we were 70% water. I would like to know more about amino acids. I never knew enzymes were. And that they do all the work.
There are 20 different amino acids in the human body. There are 100 different types of amino acids. The cell membranes have to be working for the cells to work. I never knew that DNA is four different parts.
ATOMS
I never knew that atoms are so hard to brake. I like how they have a positive, negative. I knew that atoms had protons, neutrons and electrons. I never knew that the nucleus had ratio activity. I also never knew that protons are bigger then electrons. And electrons are very tiny. I think that the IBM research lab was really cool.
